My place is close to Mizoram University, by bus (from Vaivakawn), Aizawl city center by taxi or walk. A brand new apartment, impeccably clean, cozy, convenient to major attractions/businesses, and 10 min walk to market. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, & especially visiting scholars. I can help with information and logistics and can offer safe and reliable airport pick-ups and/or drops (for an additional fee of 1800 rupees).
I have three separate bedrooms with their own bathroom. I live in one of the bedrooms, so the other two are fully available. You will have shared access to the kitchen and dining area as well as the living room.
Interaksi dengan tetamu
I am always available to offer information about Aizawl and to help you get around/find what you need. You can also hire one of my personal assistants for the day, to support you with translation services or take you where you need to go (at a set fee of 1000 rupees/day)
Perkara lain untuk Diketahui
You should know that in Mizoram, no matter where you house, you will experience infrastructural issues: some power cuts and slow or interrupted internet. Additionally, laundry services tend to be slower than in other places, as driers are not common and the humidity is high (less so during the Oct-February months). We offer laundry services for a set price of 50 rupees/shirt and 100/pants.
- Smoking is allowed on the porch, but the sight is beautiful so it's a win win. Parties are allowed but not after 11 PM, as neighbors have little children. I can accommodate most requests as long as we negotiate the terms in advance, of course.
- I am also open to rent lengthier times, but mostly to visiting researchers or scholars/students. This too can be negotiable depending on the circumstance.
