This is in an area of town that has several apartments and town homes, as well as single family houses. It is just a short walk south of the high school, and the Mormon church. It sits on a wide, 4-lane street, but there is very modest traffic at most times of the day. The area is safe, but is not especially walkable to the downtown areas, and wouldn't be as scenic as trotting your dog around a nice, West Side neighborhood.
