Guests are invited to eat/mingle/hang out/enjoy a beer in the communal kitchen or the comfortable secluded south facing backyard – you may even get lucky and enjoy a bit of fine weather if the sun pops its head out.

I am a single mum and I love to spend time with my daughter and her friends. We love to play board games, be crafty and take long walks in St. Anne's Park or at the zoo.
I first stayed in an Airbnb rental when I visited New York in the summer of 2015. I got a bedroom in an All Airbnb house, the host didn't live there, and it was perfect for me. Each day I had plans around the city so I was out and about after a quick cup of coffee and some toast. When I came home in the evening I had access to the kitchen to make a simple meal for myself, and then later I could hang out in my room and watch a movie on Netflix. One evening I shared a bottle of wine in the back garden with a few other guests from around the world. It was the perfect place to come home to after a crazy day of doing the tourist thing. That's the kind of place that I wanted to set up here.
Also, I know what it's like to arrive at a destination after a long day's travel, late in the day, tired and hungry, and hate to think about finding a shop to buy food. Take Out food is always an option. But as an alternative, I keep some basic food available for my guests: tea, coffee, cereal, bread, jam, fruit, milk, and yummy Irish butter. Enough for a quick supper or breakfast the next morning before heading out for the day.
I live just up the road from my Airbnb and I'm very hands on. I respond quickly to all questions from my guests. I have a lock box set up so that guests can check themselves in, but I make sure to know when my guests are due to arrive. That way I'm available to handle any issues that arise. I really enjoy helping my guests in any way that I can and I've met so many wonderful people over the past 6 months from all over the world, it's been super!
