Looking for a quiet get-away? An escape from the busy city life? We'd like to invite you for a comfortable stay in our newly-renovated apartment. It has an open living room and eating area, a kitchenette, and walk-in closet. The bedroom has a brand new Queen Sized Bed and a 55" television. Planning to wake up hungry? The famous Bailey's Bakery couldn't be closer! While there is sometimes some morning noise from the bakery, we think you'll find the fresh-baked pastries to be well worth it!
This property extends clear down to the bay. Nature-lovers can enjoy an early morning swim, kayak along the shore, walk to the Nahcotta Port, then spend the evening enjoying a picnic on the lawn. If local culture is more your thing, search 'Long Beach Peninsula' and click on the first result. We think you'll agree, it's a remarkable area. We recommend checking out the Saturday Market at the Port of Ilwaco, the trails at Leadbetter Point State Park, the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, the infamous Garlic Festival, and of course the Wiegardt Studio Gallery.
You will have the entire apartment all to yourself, with complete privacy. The house and bakery are adjoining but there is no overlapping space.

It's hard to guess what the weather will do on the peninsula; we see plenty of gray and rainy days in the fall and winter. But there are also gorgeous fall mornings where the air is crisp and clear, and the occasional exciting winter storm that can whip up the bay and make the safe and warm apartment feel even cozier. We love it here year-round, and we think you will too!
After ten years in Seattle, I'm finally settled back in the town of Nahcotta, taking care of our family home and working as a bookkeeper in Astoria, OR. The Long Beach Peninsula is quiet, beautiful, and a welcome change from the bustle of the city. Favorite things to do? Hiking with my dog, Miles, camping, eating at my favorite restaurants in Astoria, or just relaxing at home.
