HOT TUB RULES
Blue Ball: There is a blue ball in the hot tub. Please do not remove it as it releases chemicals slowly. If you have children in the hot tub, please inform them not to touch and or simply remove it while they are in the tub.
Keys/Combination: The hot tub electrical box is located next to the steps leading up to the main deck from the lower deck. We have locked it to protect children. The combination is 664. We have also locked the hot tub. The key is located in the cabinet next to the front door on the left. It is on the wall next to the dryer. It is a small brown plastic key. Please be sure to lock the hot tub cover and return it there so the next client can use it.
How to Connect to the Stereo via Blue Tooth: The Spa Operating Manual is located in a blue binder in the house marked “SPA”. I found the section on how to use the stereo very complicated. I therefor am providing my own instructions after try and failure method, ok so I am not real technical (smile).
1. On the front of the spa, facing the water there is a black box. Inside the box, at the top is a red button, which is the power button. This can be left on but you should check first if it is on or obviously the stereo will not work.
2. The remote is mounted in a holder under the green Hot Tub sign. Remove the remote from its holder and turn it on. If the “No Link” message appears on the remote screen push the “ on” button again until it says something other than “no link”. This should engage the radio or allow you to use your blue tooth device. The remote floats in the Hot Tub, and has controls for volume, modes, channels, and to change songs via Bluetooth.
3. If you want to use your one of your Bluetooth wireless devices simply click on your settings button on your device and click on Bluetooth. You can either turn on the top left red button of the front panel of the hot tub or you can turn on the remote, either one will work with your Bluetooth. Click on your Bluetooth device to link with the “ Aquatic AV” Hot Tub stereo. Be sure to stand in front of the Hot Tub’s black box. Click on the music on your Bluetooth device. You can control the volume on either the stereo hot tub’s front panel and or on the remote.
4. Be sure to turn off the remote upon departure or it will wear down the remote’s battery. If the remote does not work, that means that the tenant before you failed to turn off the radio upon departure. I have lots of batteries for this remote in the drawer across from the refrigerator in the kitchen.
5. Please be respectful to our neighbors and don’t play the music loudly after 9 PM.
6. Please review the rules in your confirmation letter. They are also posted on the lower deck near the hot tub.
Maintenance: We have hired a certified hot tub cleaner who cleaned the hot tub prior to your arrival. If you have problems please contact me first but if you cannot get a hold of me, please contact Pete, our hot tub cleaner at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). DO NOT ENTER THE WATER UNLESS THE WATER IS CLEAR!
IMPORTANT HOUSEKEEPING INFORMATION
LOCATION OF YOUR DOCK: You have a private dock. It is located just to the right of the steps going down to the waterfront in between cabin 6 and 7. These steps serve both guests of the cabin and the lodge. The dock has a canvas cover over it and it also has a floating dock.
LOCATION OF THE BOAT RENTALS: The silver canoe is located on the concrete slab to right of the steps. The kayaks and paddleboard are located to the right of the steps but at the end of the cove. Walk to the last dock on the right and follow the small path to the end of the cove. The life jackets are in the locked brown box in the cove. The paddles are located behind the silver canoe. The boats are available only for people who have rented them at both the lodge and cabin # 6. Please be sure to only use the number of boats you rented, otherwise there will be a double booking of the boats.
Garbage: Living in a rural area has lots of benefits but one of them is not garbage collection. All of us have to take our trash to the local dumpsite, located about three miles from the house. Travel to the end of Cedar Key Lane and take a left on Rt. 609 also called Tolers Ferry Road. Proceed about 2.5 miles, take a right at Sherms boat repair, the dump is located a half of block on the left. There are lots of boats all over Sherm’s lot.

ONE OF OUR FIRST GUESTS BROKE THE HOT TUB COVER BY LEANING ON THE METAL COVER LIFT ASSIST BAR BRACKET WHILE GETTING INTO THE TUB. AS A RESULT, THE PANEL RIPPED OFF AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. PLEASE BE SURE TO DO THE FOLLOWING TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN:
1. PLEASE HAVE TWO PEOPLE LIFT THE HOT TUB COVER, ONE ON EACH SIDE. START IN FRONT OF THE HOT TUB (CLOSEST TO THE HOUSE) TO LIFT HOT TUB COVER. IT FOLDS IN HALF. THEN MOVE TO THE BACK OF THE HOT TUB AND USE THE COVER LIFT ASSIST BAR TO FOLD THE COVER TOWARDS THE WOODS.
2. NEVER TOUCH THE METAL COVER LIFT BAR WHILE IN THE HOT TUB. WE THINK THIS IS HOW THE DAMAGE OCCURRED. WHEN ENTERING OR
