Mongolian Yurt set up on a working farm way out in the woods in Oregon. Bare bones accommodations for sleeping and resting with access to the farmhouse for shower and meals. Yurt accommodates maybe a couple and a child or two. Pets are not allowed in the yurt, and no smoking in the yurt, but you can smoke outside and bring pets if they are well behaved and can stay outside the yurt or in your car. Additional guests are welcome to camp nearby.
The Yurt is set up on a hill above our farmhouse. The only thing you can see from the Yurt is grass, trees, hills, and sky. It's for a quiet and healing retreat or quiet night stop if you're on a trip from somewhere to somewhere else.
You have access to the entire 160 acre farm by foot and to an old-growth 40 acre hiking area (steep hikes). There are cows and chickens everywhere. Everything in this canyon is downhill, until you turn around. It can be a farm stay, where you learn about what we do (raw milk, pastured eggs, hogs, etc.) Our foods are all designed to be healing and the stay can be a mind, body, spirit detox for most people.

You can tag along while we work the farm, milk the cows, etc. You're welcome to join us for meals when we have them. We have people drop in to learn about us and our chemical-free farm practices all the time. We don't know much, but some people find what we do know to be life changing.

You have to navigate a long dirt road to get here, as the location is very remote. If you turn left after the "end of county maintenance" sign, then you may need to open and close a gate. If you're booked, you can officially ignore the no trespassing signs. After the gate, stay to the right at the first fork so you don't end up 4-wheeling to the upper 80 acres. Keep following the road to our farm house and park in the front or around the back. We will see you coming up. The Yurt is up the hill and we may need to shuttle you up there or at least escort you.
