This holiday home is located in the front part of a 1910 farmhouse in Twente. This house is characterised by a sense of authenticity that's visible in the tiled walls, the doors and the interior. The house offers an unimpeded view of the surrounding meadows, and the large garden was made for outdoor living; it's full of play structures for the children, and the large walnut tree in the middle of the garden provides some welcome shade on hot summer days.

The living room has a classic, tasteful design. The spacious open-plan kitchen features a large dining table where everyone can gather for delicious, elaborate meals. The bedrooms are spacious; the bathrooms are simple yet functional.

The farmhouse's rural surroundings include the Sallandse Heuvelrug, a national park full of woods and heathland and a wonderful place to go hiking, mountain biking and cycling. This area offers a range of activities related to arts and culture. Many of the museums appeal to visitors of all ages, including Eungs Schöppe farmhouse museum in Markelo. The area boasts numerous windmills, country estates and castles, including De Hoop flour mill, Weldam Castle and Wegdam Manor. Hellendoorn adventure park is located 25 km from the holiday home.
