Eden, situated almost exactly halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, is the perfect stopover to re-charge the batteries and enjoy a restful break. Swim at quiet Cocora Beach or surf at Aslings beach. The Eden Killer Whale Museum is a MUST visit.
This room with bunk beds is available at $35 per person per night. A shared bathroom is also available. There is another room with a queen bed and ensuite. Look for "Stopover in Eden and recharge 1". No meals are included in this price but you are welcome to use the kitchen facilities. My dogs live in the house so this accommodation is not suitable for anyone who is afraid of dogs.
If you are planning to arrive by bus, it's a three-quarter hour walk from the bus stop but there is a taxi service in town. Please do not be scared when the dog barks VERY loudly on your arrival. No-one has been hurt by the dogs - yet! The kitchen may be used for making tea and coffee and the preparation of your meals - but only after negotiation! Likewise for washing machine, clothes line and drier. A doggy door gives access to the secure back yard and Aslings Beach has an off the leash area for dogs to use up excess energy.

The guest access is via the front door which leads into a large family room/kitchen and then through to the guest bedrooms. Guests are welcome to join us for a glass of wine when the sun is over the yard arm!

Noise should be kept to a minimum after 10 pm at night. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. The bunk beds do not have sides so the top bunk is not suitable for young children.
