Creve Coeur is a super little 2-bedroomed apartment, ideal for a small family or a group of friends. It's simple and functional but has all you need for a skiing trip or a summer walking or biking holiday! There's a parking space, a "cave" for ski / board storage, and the ski buses in the winter stop 80m from the apartment, and there are super views over the centre of Morzine and up the Prodains valley to Avoriaz.
From its position on a rise above Morzine's 18th century church, the Crève Coeur boasts magnificent views over Morzine and up to the heights of Avoriaz hanging 1000 metres above the valley.
From the apartment it’s just a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars & shops (200m down to the lively Bourg area of town, 250m to the Carrefour supermarket and marketplace). The “A” free ski bus stops 80m from the door (winter), giving quick access to Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes du Soleil. The bus runs every 10 mins and takes 10 mins uphill to the new Avoriaz 3S high-speed cable car station, or 5 mins down to the Pleney lift in Morzine. If you come by car, there's an allocated parking place next to the building.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms; a double (with king duvet) and a triple (single bed + bunk beds). In the lounge are 2 sofas (one converts into a sofabed), a couple of armchairs, and a dining table with benches. A balcony gives gorgeous views over the town. The bathroom has bath and overhead shower, and a separate WC. The kitchen has gas hob, full-size electric oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, and dishwasher. The apartment is comfortable with a family of 5, or we would recommend it for a group of 4 adults. It's a simple apartment but has everything you need for a ski week or long weekend.
The minimum low season rental period is 4 nights. It's possible to book this apartment over a long weekend, except during winter and summer high season periods. For week-long stays in winter our changeover day is normally Sunday.

We're available by email or phone from the moment you book, and we can give you information on all the resort facilities and services. I (Rachel) will be the person who checks you in on arrival and will probably be the one that checks you out too - I live 10 mins down the road in St Jean D'aulps. We've been running Mountain Highs for 23 years now so we've amassed a wealth of knowledge about Morzine, the locals and the wider area!

Winter ski season (Dec 14 - April 19): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. Sunday - Sunday bookings.
The Rest of the year: (April 19 - Dec 14): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €40, which goes straight to the cleaners.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: We take a €300 Damage Deposit on arrival, either in Euros or Sterling cash, or in a UK or Euro cheque. We refund this deposit on your departure as long as we are able to check the chalet properly on your departure. If this is not possible (if you are leaving very early or very late) we will withhold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to check the property, and we will then return it to you by bank transfer. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for mountain biking groups and for people bringing a dog.
Pets are permitted under certain conditions, and only 1 dog - please ask BEFORE booking.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment at all.
A damage Deposit of €300 (winter) and €500 (summer) is taken on your arrival. This is held until your departure as a caution against damage or breakages.
I'm British born but have now been living more of my life in France than in the UK! I've been running Mountain Highs Self-Catered Chalets and Apartments in Morzine since 1995 and I live nearby, with my 2 daughters, my girl dogs Greta and Sydney and my cat Tina.
I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and trekking, road biking and lake swimming in the summer, and reading and music when I get the time ;) I also love to travel and get to know new places...wish there was just more time to get to all the places I haven't been to yet!
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are a wonderful place to choose for a holiday and I feel I am very lucky to live here all year round.
