Our place is close to RPI and is centrally located in suburban Troy. You’ll love it because of the views of Troy and Albany, a friendly dog, one misanthropic cat, great kitchen, comfy couches, and convenient access to RPI, Frear Park, downtown Troy, and Vermont. Our place is good for parents, families, researchers, and students visiting RPI, Troy visitors, road trippers, and skiers and hikers on their way to or from the Adirondacks or New England.
Our guest rooms are designed with your comfort in mind! Each room has a comfy queen bed, dresser, and closet. The dresser is full of goodies, such as books, coloring books, and snacks! The two bedrooms share a large full bath.
In addition to their rooms and bathroom, guests are welcome to access the living room, dining room, and kitchen on the first floor as well as the washer and dryer in the basement.

We are available to interact as much or as little as you'd like! Either Holley, Gavin, and Shelby (or all three, depending on when you arrive) are available to answer questions from where the best coffee shop in downtown Troy is to how to locate the recycling bin.
Evrill the dog is always happy to be pet, while Tesla the cat is happiest when left to her own devices.
We're happy to host you in our home, and we ask that you treat it with respect (e.g., keeping quiet hours between 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. on work nights, leaving common areas tidy, not bringing guests over without pre-approval, not allowing our cat outside, and not feeding the dog human food).
I'm a foodie with a passion for travel! I've been to 42 countries and counting. My ultimate goal is to see 150 countries - I have got a very long way to go!
In addition to traveling the world, I love reading, swimming, and yoga. I live in upstate New York with my fiancé Gavin, roommate Shelby, big fluffy dog Evrill, and a weird cat named Tesla.
