Part of a handsome Victorian town house, with its own entrance, two minutes walk from the High Street, in the smart market town of Berkhamsted. Surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Chiltern Hills and yet 30 minutes from central London.
Our house is in the conservation area of Berkhamsted and dates from the 1890's. The apartment has recently been professionally refurbished to offer 'old world' charm brought firmly into the 21st century with a touch of contemporary color.
A spacious open-plan living area is at the hub of the apartment with Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, and iPod docking. There’s stylish ‘Dwell’ seating and plenty of storage and work areas. It also has a large 4ft 8ins double bed; semi-firm to provide extra support for a great nights sleep, and a large fitted wardrobe with plenty of shelves and hanging space.
The breakfast kitchen has built-in appliances including oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washer dryer, microwave and dishwasher. There’s also a pleasant dining area. In the bathroom you’ll find a large shower, basin and toilet. The apartment entrance is along a pretty walkway bordered by mature shrubs.
Complimentary services include: WiFi broadband. Toiletries for the first couple of days of your stay. All heating and electricity. Weekly change of linen and towels.
We aim to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Lower Phillips apartment has it's own foliage lined walkway, entirely separate from the main house, and just two minutes walk from Berkhamsted High Street.
We hope you enjoy your stay with us and would ask you to leave the apartment as you found it. We ask that guests do not smoke or bring their pets.
