Layered clothing recommended: Cobb Mountain is usually cooler than the surrounding low lying areas, but can sometimes be warmer depending on air currents, etc. The house is situated under tall pines, Douglas firs and cedars, which lends itself to cooler temps.
Summer: The MOSQUITOES seem to be heavy this year. I have natural oil repellents available and forbid the use of products containing DEET or other heavy chemicals.
There is POISON OAK on the property.
Summer: There is a resort across the way. Sounds can sometimes filter into space, particularly at high season.
