Enjoy a night or two in a period Victorian house, centrally located and close to major highways and fine restaurants. I serve up a healthy breakfast and am eager to be your arm-chair guide during your time in Binghamton.
I have two guest rooms at the Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast. Room #2 is the smaller room at the back of the house, with a window that looks out over the garden and catches the morning sun. It is more suitable for one person, especially for stays longer than one night. The room is furnished with a conventional double bed, consisting of an inner spring mattress and box springs. It also contains a desk and a small bookcase, as well as a closet. The room is air-conditioned.
My two rooms share a bathroom. which has a gigantic cast iron claw foot tub with a hand-held shower. I supply shampoo and a hair dryer for your convenience, and there is a drawer where you can store personal items. I also have a half-bath off the kitchen.
I serve an informal breakfast--granola or oatmeal, toast, fresh fruit, coffee. Please let me know if you have any dietary cravings or restrictions, and I will try to accommodate them. Weather permitting, we have breakfast in the garden.
I offer wireless Internet access throughout the house, off-street parking, and kitchen privileges. You can always brew yourself a cup of tea. I encourage travel-weary guests to do their laundry and make themselves a home-cooked meal. I have an iron and ironing board that you are welcome to use.
The house was built in 1892 for the Larrabee family, owners of the Sturdevant-Larrabee Company, Builders of Fine Carriages and Sleighs. Remarkably, I am only the second owner. The house is in the Queen Anne style, full of chestnut and oak moldings that have never been painted, pocket doors, three fireplaces, a laundry chute, and potato bins in the pantry. It's been my home for 24 years, and I would be pleased to share it with you.
You are welcome to enjoy the front parlor, where you can browse through my vintage vinyl collection or watch movies on my new wide-screen TV. There is plenty of reading material around, and if you particularly like a book, let me know. It could be yours. I have far too many books. For longer stays I offer a small refrigerator and a shelf for your provisions. In warm weather the front and back porches are available for your enjoyment, as well as the garden.

I make it a point to be home to greet my guests and show them around, and I am usually available during their stay. I look forward to our having breakfast together. It is one of the most enjoyable parts of being an Airbnb host.

I do not allow smoking inside the house, but you are free to smoke on the front and back porches and in the garden.
