The Joshua Tree Green House is a beautiful vacation retreat located at Sun Mesa Heights close to Joshua Tree National Park.
Enjoy an amazing 180 degree view of the Park, Mt. San Jacinto and Mt. Gorgonio as well as the spectacular night sky while soaking in our outdoor hot tub.
The retreat is a 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom house sleeping 2-6. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a large counter height work surface for the creative and a lounge seat next to the large window overlooking the valley. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and enjoys a quiet view of our rock garden and private outdoor area. The living room has a comfortable queen size pull out sofa bed. Families are very welcome. We provide a pack'n play and high seat for the smallest guests.
Pets are welcome to our home for a 25 Dollar pet fee.
Go for a hike from the house up to Bartlet Mountain or just relax, read a book from our library or play some games with friends or kids.
The retreat is equipped with indoor and outdoor spas. Either soak with your friends and/ or family enjoying the view or just relax by candle light indoors.
It comes with a BBQ and re pit and a spacious two level outdoor terrace for dining under the stars, sunbathing or stargazing.
WIFI is provided.
It’s only a short drive to the Park, Town of Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley as well as to Pioneer Town and to the Integratron. The Joshua Tree Retreat Center is just down the road.
Nestled in a hill at the end of a quiet residential street the Joshua Tree Green Haus offers relaxation as well as a great location for exploring the park and other attractions in and around the Park.

We opened our home to the public when Richard accepted a temporary assignment in Costa Rica. Our US base is still in Los Angeles. We visit the Green Haus as often as we can but in general we won't be able to greet you in person when you arrive.
Our house manager Karen lives near the property and is always available if our guests need anything.

Owner and Guest agree as follows:
Guest is an adult and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period. Other occupants may be family members, friends or adult acquaintances. Others may be denied access to the premises.
The JTGH may be used for residential purposes only. While Guest may be travelling to Yucca Valley/ Joshua Tree on business, the property is not to be used as an office for meetings.
Owner will accept payments issued via Airbnb or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) or 100% deposit payment via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).
Full refund will be given until 14 days prior to the arrival date.
For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made seven full days prior to the day of check in, otherwise no refund.
If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.
If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.
A security deposit of 200 Dollars has to be issued together with 100% of the payment if you book via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) or from private. The deposit will be refunded two days after the check-out date if there are no damages to the premise.
Check-in time is 3pm. Early check-in times is possible only when the property is cleaned and ready for occupancy and prior arrangements have been made.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 12 noon. Late check-out is only possible if there is no other occupancy the same day.
IMPROPER USE OF PREMISES
Guest will not
- Allow overnight occupancy of the unit exceeding the number of guests stated on the
- Use the premises for any illegal activity, including but not limited to possession, serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages by or to persons less than 21 years of age,
- Cause damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties,
- Use the premises in any manner that interferes with the neighbors' rights to quiet and enjoyment of their property.
In any case of improper use of the premises, the Tenant and any other occupants may be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee.
The property will be inspected, cleaned and sanitized after each tenant's departure so that the Guest can enjoy his or her vacation up to the last moment. Guest agrees to leave the property in the same general condition it was received.
DAMAGE TO THE PREMISES
The Airbnb host coverage should cover any damages to the rental property and its furnishings beyond normal wear and tear caused by the Tenants and their Guests. Should the damage not be covered by Airbnb, the guest remains liable for the balance. The homeowner shall provide the Tenant with an itemized statement of any charges.

The 200 Dollars should cover any damages to the rental property and its furnishings beyond normal wear and tear caused by the Tenants and their Guests. Should the damage not be covered by the given amount, the guest remains liable for the balance. The homeowner shall provide the Tenant with an itemized statement of any charges.
I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to residents and or their guests which may occur on the premises of the Joshua Tree Green Haus, including but not limited to injuries associated with the hot tubs, and I agree to assume the full risk of any such injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, which I or my child/ward may sustain as a result of participating in any activities connected or
associated with any such use of the facility. I waive and relinquish all claims I or my child/ward may have
against JTGH, agents, servants and employees as a result of personal injury suffered while on the JTGH premises. I hereby fully release and discharge Richard and Daniela Hammond from any and all claims from injuries, damage or loss which I or my child/ward may have or which may accrue to me or my child/ward on account of my utilization or the utilization of my child/ward in any of the JTGH facilities. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend the JTGH from any and all claims resulting from injuries, damages and losses sustained by me or by my child/ward, and arising out, connected with, or in any way associated with JTGH and its facilities.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE RENTING A PRIVATE HOME. TREAT IT WITH THE SAME RESPECT YOU WOULD LIKE SHOWN TO YOUR OWN HOME.
