The chalet is on a property of over 180 acres of prime high tropical forest just 60 km from Sao Paulo which is used for research on flora and fauna especially birds and known for a record number of species. Perfect to relax and connect with nature.
The Chalet is embedded in a very natural environment, part of a complex of three available houses. Simply sitting on the porch, some of the most interesting wildlife can be experienced & photographically captured. If you are looking to relax this place is for you. This modern chalet, for two people, has a living room, kitchen and one bedroom with two twin beds. Kitchen is equipped with stove, an oven, and essential kitchen utensils. Utility area has a refrigerator and washer/dryer. Please note that cellular phone signals could be weak and/or unavailable in certain areas. Guests are responsible for bringing any consumables.
Full access of Chalet. A charming roofed area with barbecue and pizza oven serve the chalet and the two other houses on the property. Available on first come/first serve basis. Large forested areas are part of the location and available to those experienced in this environment.

This Chalet is for guests who are already experienced in traveling to unique places that have little infrastructure support. Cel phone signal weak and/or unavailable at certain areas, guests must bring their own internet service (mifi). No smoking. Please be considerate of wildlife and neighbors when/if listening to music.
PETS: Small Dogs are permitted if controlled not to chase the wild life - geese, wild ducks, deer, etc.
Depending on guests interest in ongoing wildlife projects, interaction frequently between Chalet guests and research teams.
Other buildings in the complex serve as host to many research disciplines for the region because of the diversity of flora/fauna and Eco-Systems.
