Mountain Mist cottage is a self catering unit situated just 2km from Spiddal Village and 18km from Galway City on the Wild Atlantic Way. Mountain Mist offers magnificent views from its elevated site showing Connemara in its true beauty, from Galway Bay, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands, to the Twelve Bins mountains to the rear of the cottage.The unit itself is at the rear of the hosts own house. Our studio apt is in the heart of Carraroe, 10 min walk will get you to the village where you'll find pubs, restaurant, shop, chemist and library, there's 4 beaches, the unique coral beach ( Tra an Doilin) is only a 3 minute drive or a scenic 20-25 minute walk ,well worth the walk, 10 min drive will get you to Ros a' mhíl (Rossaveal) port where you can get a ferry to the Aran Islands, we have high speed internet in the apt, you can catch a bus frequently to Galway city down on the main strip
