We meet at my Wonder Van Store in Sintra. Ready for a local insight of the best village in Portugal? You can choose to start at 9:30am or 10am. Jump in my 4x4 Classic Portuguese jeep for our 1st stop: Quinta da Regaleira where you will have the chance and time to explore this magnificent estate , from the famous Well to it's one of a kind gardens! Surrounded by the immensity of Sintra & Cascais Natural Park, through secret off road trails and past traditional villages take some great pictures while having lot's of fun and ejoying the nature and fresh air! Next stop: the most western point of Europe, Cabo da Roca where the immensity of the ocean clashing into land forms a beautiful cliff with amazing views. After lunch (usually at a local restaurant) and a lots of non touristic view-points (to gaze upon the iconic sights) we head to Sintra's gem: Pena Palace for you to explore this world famous fairy-tail Palace! This experience is designed to make you time-travel back to the early ages of photography. You’ll have your portrait made through one of the oldest photography processes: wet plate collodion and will have the chance to experience the whole process of development. This immersive experience will be held at FIVE HISTORIC PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO, which itself is equipped with antique cameras, and furniture, alongside some literature on 19th century Photography, all for your edification. The Studio’s expertise lies in the use of 19th century photography technique Wet Plate Collodion, invented by Frederick Scott Archer in 1851. This particular technique creates unique images, reminiscent of a distant past. You will have the chance to choose the material in which the portrait will be made - clear glass or aluminium- and choose from one of 3 different sizes. Some 19th century clothes and props will be available for the portrait session. In addition to being an extremely interesting process, you will have the opportunity to follow the hosts to the laboratory/dark-room to experience/see the whole development process. Your portrait will be ready to be delivered in 60 minutes. Other things to note By default the price includes an aluminum plate in the smallest size. If the guest want a different size or material, the difference should be paid at the studio.

This is a private surf class (individual or private group). We will start with a pick up at Cascais or Carcavelos train station, or meet directly at the beach (Guincho, Carcavelos or Caparica beach). After choosing the right equipment for you, and teach you how to stand up on a board it’s time for a quick warm up and go surf! No rush, this is a PRIVATE SURF CLASS, so you will have your own time to learn and get better, wave by wave! The surf lesson will have around 1 hour of practice where you will learn how to surf with all our professional help! My goal is for this to be a super fun experience and the highlight of your entire Portugal trip! After the surf class, we will drop you back at the train station closer to the beach. All surf equipment is included, and the surf Lessons are suitable for all levels and skills: From beginners to experienced. Everyone from your group will be welcomed and will have great fun with us! Hello Dear Dolphin! My name is André Santos and I will take you swimming where you never imagined. My lessons and tours are designed to be a balanced combination of relaxation and adventure. I spend a great deal of time planning each of my swim routes, ensuring that I offer you a tailored experience that you will never forget. On this particular day, we will meet at Praia da Duquesa, in Cascais. After arriving, you will meet me and fellow swimmers for a safety briefing and discussion about the swimming lesson/tour. If you are a beginner swimmer we can also do a private coaching session. We will then hold an acclimatisation swim nearby and start our adventure along the Cascais coast (from 1.5km or more depending on your ability and if you want to do a Tour or a Lesson). There you will have the opportunity to swim in very enjoyable clear waters. The view from here is unrivalled as the entire Bay of Cascais is laid out before us. The session will last 1 hour with time to warm up, meet up and after our water session either get a hot tea. I provide swim buoy and if required will provide a wetsuit rental. I will be swimming beside you all the time and giving you all the support you need. I will be filming you while swimming for further analysis of your technique. I'm sure you'll love swimming with me! We will meet in the heart of Almoçageme, next to the fire station, where I will introduce you to this ancient village and share some stories about its unique history. From there, we head off toward the village of Ulgueira. On the way, I will tell you about the surrounding land as we hike past farmland and climb the hill up to the next town. In Ulgueira, I will show you the most scenic points and provide some historical background information, before setting off to Cabo da Roca, the western-most point of continental Europe. At Cabo da Roca, I will share some interesting stories about the history and we will take a little time to enjoy the historic monument before heading toward the overlook for Praia da Ursa, the most beautiful wild beach in Portugal. Here we will stop and enjoy a snack and take in the views, getting a little rest before continuing our hike. After our snack when we're feeling ready to keep exploring, we navigate our way along the cliffs, enjoying the beautiful coastline. We then make our way down a valley and back up the hill to Almocageme, as I share more local knowledge. When the tour wraps up back in the center of Almoçageme, I can provide excellent recommendations for other things to do, see, and eat if you choose to continue enjoying the day out in this gorgeous area.

This experience starts in Cascais, goes to Sintra and ends in Cascais. I have another one, very similar, that starts from Sintra and ends in Cascais. We'll start from Cascais in front of Hotel Baía (next to the town hall and the Fisherman’s Beach) for a 6 hours tour through Cascais and Sintra. First we leave Cascais towards Sintra where we’ll start by doing a 2 hours walking around the Park of Pena Palace (great "ex libris" of Sintra) and also around the Moorish Castle. We have to really enjoy walking and being in the middle of nature to enjoy this walk, which has some moments that require a little more physical dexterity (not too much). Next we will visit the village center (historical center) and feel its atmosphere. From here, we passed through the mountain, which is also a UNESCO world heritage site, direction to the westernmost point of Europe, the famous Roca cape - where we’ll do another walk (this time a very light ride). From Roca cape, we go to Cascais, by the sea, passing by Guincho beach, one of the main surf beaches in Portugal. In Cascais, You'll get a perspective of Cascais village, an old fisherman's village that was a favorite holidays spot for royalty and noble families.

I invite you to join me on a tour along the Tagus River. Come and visit Lisbon in a different way, be amazed by it’s colours, the way they spread over the hills and touch the river. We will sail to the Praça do Comércio, one of the most beautiful plazas in the word. From there we can see the old neighborhoods of Lisbon: Chiado, Baixa, Castelo and Alfama. Then it’s time to cross to Cacilhas on the other side of the river to get the widest possible view of the city. Sail close to the Cristo Rei on the south bank, cross under the bridge and sail to Belém to see its tower. On the way back you will see how the people of Lisbon love to walk, sit and chat by the side of the river; usually the banks are full of people enjoying the sun, the river and boats passing by. You will have plenty of time to take amazing pictures of the city and of this incredible experience. The suggestion is to contemplate the views, focus on good energy vibes and re-energise until we set off to the next stop. Then the next chapter unfolds. We will have a sneak peek of the vineyards that grow on sand-rich soil, an original kind of viticulture with unusual and ancestral cultural techniques. Curious? You will have the opportunity to learn more. Around 3pm, will take us to Adega of Colares. Here, a guided tour will last approximately 1 hour. This is a trail running or hiking experience. You choose your preference. It's made for individuals, couples and small groups who like a little adventure and when we return to our partner restaurant, Casa do Mar sem Fim, you can refresh on the terrace with our Perfect Peaks beer selection whilst tasting some specially prepared dishes to replenish yourself. The drink and food is included in the price. Meeting point and finish point is “Casa do Mar sem Fim” restaurant in Azoia. We can provide parking instructions once booking is received. We will be exploring the coastal fisherman trails around the area of Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point of Continental Europe. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean always in view. The paths are narrow and steep (both ascending and descending) so you must have a good level of fitness and the correct hiking or running shoes. We will be running or hiking for approximately 1.5-2hrs at an easy, talking pace and there will be drinks breaks and photo stops. You would never know these trails and views existed unless a local experienced trail runner guided you. Two craft beers and the food are included in the experience price. We guarantee this will be one of the highlights of your holiday. Minimum of two (2) clients is necessary for this experience.
