Beech Tree is a two storey cottage at the end of the courtyard. This house has oil-fired central heating and an open log fire (we do supply logs, but not kindling). The ground floor has a sitting room with a log fire, two four seater sofas, one reclining chair, a dining table, TV with freeview and a door leading to the shared back lawn where the children can play on the trampoline, swing and climbing frame. There is also a utility room off the living room containing a toilet and the washing machine. Patio furniture is supplied from spring to autumn. On the ground floor there is also the kitchen well supplied with pots and pans, crockery, glasses and cups. etc. It also has an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Next door is the ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet.
A stone staircase leads up the second floor, to your right up another few stairs is a cabin bed, narrower than a normal sized single bed, this will fit a small adult. To the right there is a twin bedroom containing two standard single beds, next door is a bathroom with a bath and sink, in the cupboard here you will find the towels. Opposite the bedroom is the family shower room containing a sink, large walk in shower and toilet. And the last room is another twin room containing two single beds and a hand basin, it also has an occasional bed if required, the bedding for this if you have not requested it is in the blue bedding box at the other side of the room.

There are seven Fingask Castle Cottages, ranging from Sir Stuart's House sleeping up to fourteen to the romantic hideaway, with sauna and rowing boat, known as The Boathouse.
Fingask Cottages are set in over 100 acre’s of the historic gardens and woods of Fingask Castle, enjoying southerly views to the Firth of Tay and the hills of Fife beyond. The half mile long drive curves up through the wooded glen and crosses Fingask stream on a high arched stone bridge overlooking St Peter’s Well in the dell below. Fingask is truly a magical place!
You are welcome to roam the estate, there is a map provided in the cottage, but please respect the owners privacy and avoid the area immediately around the castle. The Pavilion is also to be avoided please if there is an event happening during your stay.
