We loved the Crooked River tiny house! We planned a ski trip but with condition far below zero the tiny house became our destination and it did not disappoint! We played monopoly, cooked fish chowder on the wood stove and reconnected in the cozy atmosphere. We got a little turned around when finding it and Keith answered and solve our mix up right away!

Absolutely idyllic and pleasant! Keith is an amazing helpful host and he maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. No complaints at all.

I highly recommend this "tiny house" if you are interested in a remote, quiet setting. A really beautiful, serene spot and adorable house. The surrounding snow was lots of fun and the wood stove was more than sufficient for keeping the house warm (almost too warm!). The house even had lots of great dried goods in the kitchen, great to supplement what we brought! The host was very attentive and quick in answering my many questions.

I went down for the fourth of July with a group of friends. The property was great and surpassed our expectations. Webber pond is a beautiful place for a swim or a canoe ride. The screened in porch with the fantastic views really made our experience. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a fun and relaxing vacation. We all said that we'd love to come back.

From the start, we were very pleased with the detailed instructions on how to find the Red House and the keys to the house. We were able to find the house and settle down without difficulties in view of our late arrival. The house is full of history and each piece of furniture and item in the house is worth a careful look and one would appreciate them. The pond in front of the house is so beautiful that I practically spent a whole day sitting there and looking at the pond.

This is my second time renting Debra's wonderful home in Sweden, everything was as expected and everyone enjoyed themselves very much. Communication's with Debra were very clear. All the instruction on what to do, how to get there etc. were all Layed out very nicely. would love to come back again for next fourth of July!

Debra was very accommodating of our ever-changing number of guests! We ended up with 4 as final number, and I got quotes from 3 of them about how they found the house to be. "I found the place very cozy, I slept like a baby, the lake across the street was peaceful and calming. I'd consider returning there for a quiet get-away retreat, if I felt the need to hole up in the woods!" "I loved it!!!! Clean, well appointed, and such fun stuff to look at all around the house. The pond was incredibly beautiful and I would love to return as well to just chill and enjoy the space." "Very peaceful. Clear directions and instructions made it much less stressful. We stayed at the house for three nights and wish our time could have been extended. Debra was not present but very onboard via text, and had some great recommendations for nearby places of interest . The house is spacious and private, filled with sweet and interesting family memorabilia and enough books to fill out the summer into winter! This is a fun and accessible rental with lots of room for everyone to relax and enjoy!

The house is beautiful and well equipped with amenities. The location is ideal for hiking and fishing trips as you have access to the mountain and lakes/ponds but also local shops/restaurants.

This place is great. Plenty of beds for a large group and ample sitting area. Legitimately right next to a chair lift on the mountain so you don't even have to walk to it, you could ski/snowboard right to it. My friends and I had a great time and we would definitely go back again!

If you need a place with plenty of space and beds, this is it.Every room was set up with sheets, pillows, and blankets. there was plenty of living room space and seating for everyone to relax and enjoy the environment. i would absolutely consider The Hive as a weekend getaway again.

Eric's place was exactly how he explained it. We stayed with 16 people and everyone had the right amount of beds and it was a great weekend. The only thing I could suggest for the future is to maybe think about getting a hot tub outside. That would be pretty cool.

Tim and Kristin were great hosts and very good communicators. All of our questions were answered promptly both before and during our stay. We felt upon arriving, after a very grueling airline experience, that we knew where to go and how to get in. They left a very detailed binder with all kinds of info about the house and about the surrounding area, which was thoughtful and extremely useful! The town of Bridgton is cute and has everything you need. The house is charmingly decorated, and the front screened porch on the second level is a big plus in Maine during the summer. Our kids loved the loft, fire pit and some of the special decor. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. It is nice and private. Just a great place! Perfect for a family of 4-6!

Tim and Kristin's cabin is clean and well-appointed with items that make you feel at right at home. This spot is perfect to help your mind get out of high gear for a change. Everything from the lighting to what's on the kitchen counter is nicely curated. The kitchen is spacious and lends itself well to entertaining, and the living room is very comfy. If you can work remotely, working from a cabin in the woods borders on being a life-changing experience, and the location's Internet connectivity, while not blazing fast, definitely gets the job done. Tim's communication is great and he makes his expectations and deliverables clear. My friends and I will definitely try to return soon.

My friends and I stayed at this cabin over the New Year's weekend and we had a fabulous time! There were 7 of us altogether and we fit very comfortably. The cabin was decorated for the holidays and had such a cozy feel to it. The hosts left us some chocolate and a bottle of wine that we used to have a nice toast! I communicated via text with Tim and he was extremely responsive and helpful. The house also has an outdoor fire pit that we used during the day. There were also ample covers and blankets provided to keep us warm! Would definitely stay here again!

Our experience with Lynda and Rick was great! They were very quick to respond to all our questions before our stay. Their house was perfect for our needs. The kids had their own area with lots to do while we adults had ours. The house is in a great location close to the center of Bridgeton and Ricky's our favorite diner. I strongly recommend! The house is perfect, everything new, very well equipped and we must not take anything (blankets, towels, bedding, toys and games, etc) all very well clean and available for us. The hosts are one loves, fast respond messages, always make available, are flexible and friendly. I went with a group of friends, we left Canada to spend a holiday there when he arrived at the house, we find a peaceful environment, an atmosphere of love, we were all grateful for the opportunity to be able to stay in a beautiful place, in a house so good and affordable to all. My friends thanked me several times for choice and have already arranged to go back in winter and summer. It was an unforgettable experience the time we spent there! The city has many attractions at all times of the year, the house has many activities for all ages (TV, games, fire pit, hammock, pool, lake, canoe, forest, etc.) are counting the days to get back. Thanks to the owners of the house and the site Airbnb for us to provide this incredible experience. All 8 of us that were in the house loved the experience and will return soon. I only have positive words to say, nothing negative, because it was really perfect EVERYTHING and it was worth traveling to Montreal, Quebec, Canada there.

We really enjoyed meeting Linda and staying at her wonderful home in Bridgton. Linda was welcoming, helpful and treated us with grace. She was very accommodating of my family's needs and spent some extra time getting us settled which I really appreciated. Not only did Linda show us to the lake but helped get the canoe out for my family. She was very organized, and had written instructions we needed for the house. The house is in excellent condition and is a convenient distance for Moose pond and Shawnee peak. The association the house is in has good accommodations, bathrooms, beach and swim docks, pool, canoe/kayak racks and boat docks/slips. We went out in the canoe several times, really enjoyed the water, and swam at the beach it was great. The house was stocked with games, we played Monopoly and yatzi for hours. The house is surprisingly roomy and private, with bedrooms on three separate floors. We really enjoyed the house. We couldn't ask for anything more for our trip to Bridgton. It's a great location, very nice home, nice nearby accommodations and Linda is an excellent host.

This small house is wonderful! It is right on the lake and you have a wonderful view! There is a kayak and a rowing boat, there is nothing more relaxing than across the lake to go! In addition, you can barbecue and play badminton, a great leisure offer! The cottage is decorated very cute and has everything you need! Lynne is a great host, it helps to find the house and gives local recommendations! Around recommended!

Staying at camp was a great experience. We had one nice day of weather to enjoy the kayak and canoe and one rainy day to sit inside. Directions and recommendations of things to do in the area were perfect. We saw and heard the loons but did not see any moose. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderfull Time at the cabin of Lynne. She was helpfull when we arrived, very reactive and everything was very clear about how work the cabin. The environnment is beautifull, quiet and zen and the cabin is very cosy. We loved it and Hope to come back. Plus there is a great flea market at bridgton.

My family and I had one of the most memorable long weekends at Lynne's North Waterford escape. We were not disappointed with any aspect of the cottage, location, and amenities. Lynne was very welcoming, and the cottage evokes a feeling of comfort and relaxation that is perfected by one of the 5 Kezar Ponds. We had the whole pond to ourselves all weekend, and had a blast in the canoe and jumping off of the water trampoline. I'm glad I brought some bait and my pole along because one of the neighbors told me there were some monster large-mouth bass in those waters. Water, bagels, and cream cheese were there when we arrived. Definitely on our go-to list.

We all adored Lynne's camp! A perfectly peaceful spot with super lake amenities. The swimming in the lake was a dream, and having a kayak and canoe added to the fun. We loved our wiener roasts and campfire singing. The cabin was beautifully quirky and very well equipped and clean. We also loved the sheets! All in all this was a perfect holiday destination and we would visit again in a heartbeat.

Sally's Place on the lake is a large and accommodating home great for large groups that want to ski or enjoy the outdoors of Maine. It is about 20 minutes away from a very cute town with lots of antique stores and a few cute cafés and restaurants. Great for a getaway!

The Ski Haus is beautifully decorated and up to date. Back porch and fire pit were fun to use. Heather was great to work with. Stayed with my husband and 2 children and we loved it. I highly recommend it.

Die Gastgeber sind super nett und freundlich. Da wir keine warmen Schlafsäcke dabei hatten und in einer sehr klaten Nacht dort waren, haben sie uns sogar welche geliehen. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir mit einem heißen Kaffee im warmen wohnwagen begrüßt. Das Baumhaus ist sehr neu und riecht noch sehr gut nach frischem Holz. Ein Gasgrill ist vorhanden, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben.

Fantastic! A beautiful getaway with friendly people, and the disc golf was wonderful.

The space was actually better than the photos described. We had the whole second floor to ourselves with private bathroom. We also had access to a comfortable shared living room where we could watch TV. Corinne was very welcoming and sweet. We had quite a few conversations with her on various topics and found her to be a warm soul and a humble intellectual. She is very trusting and intuitive. She gives very good suggestions for restaurants in the area and things to do in general. She is there if you need her to be but allows you to have your privacy as needed. She offered us tea in the mornings and evenings and let us use her microwave, fridge and utensils. Corinne has a dog Bodi, an enlightened labradoodle. He's very friendly older dog. He usually keeps to himself. Overall it was a positive, relaxing experience. The location is perfect for all seasons. It's close to downtown Bridgton and a small walk from one of our favorite childhood swimming pond, Crystal Lake. We were here in the winter so we didn't do any hiking but from past experience we know that there are a lot of great trails nearby. And the price for this area was very good. We would definitely recommend staying with her and would gladly stay here again if we are in the area.

We had a nice time. She is walking distance to town and a beach on long lake. It was a perfect location for the wedding we attended. Corrine was friendly and helpful. Bring your own hair dryer. She has a beautiful garden and the house is set back from the road. Nice and quiet.

The moment I walked through the door I felt welcome. Corinne and I talked straight away about a lot of things. Her home is clean and neat. It is a very nice house! She gave me a lot of tips for my trip and some pears from her tree in the garden. I loved that she has sooo many towels in the bathroom. I can recommend Annie to anyone!

A wonderful stay! Corinne was very friendly and welcoming. Her dog, Bodi, was adorable! The house was beautiful, clean, and just right! She was also very knowledgable about the area.

This was a lovely room in a quiet, yet accessible location. The home is convenient to lakes, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Corinne was very personable and accommodating. Her Labradoodle, Bodie, was also quite charming.

The house is lovely and really cosy. Harrison is such a nice place (very small). You can walk into Harrison and see the Lake. We had a great meal at the Old Mill Tavern. Corinne was really good on communication, unfortunately she was away so we didn't get to meet her or Bodi.

Corinne was so nice and communicative when I had any questions. She was not in town when I visited, but left instructions for where I could stay and how to operate heat etc. The house is adorable and cozy, and the nature around is beautiful. Thanks for a great stay!

Let me just start out by saying wow ! This was an unbelievably beautiful place to stay. Steve was very quick to get back with any questions that I had. Checking in to make sure I was settled in. We will definitely be coming back as this is now one of our favorite spots . It was so nice because this particular place gave us a very cozy feeling it was a little rainy one afternoon but we are cozed up on the couch with the fireplace and it was just perfect .

A beautiful, updated home on a very quiet and peaceful lake with terrific mountain range views. We could kayak right from the dock. Everything was comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again!

Steves lake home was magical. Me and my family spent my birthday week there and I can't describe how beautiful and peaceful it was. The house was perfect and the lake was out of this world! He did nothing but make the experience fantastic, replying fast and eager to make sure we were having a wonderful time. We went to 302 smoke house down the road and ate some tasty food and won trivia night (the locals weren't impressed) haha! Nothing but 100 stars for this home, can't wait to come back!

Steve's cabin is the quintessential lake house: remote but easily accessible, full of charm and well appointed. We loved waking up to beautiful views of the lake and sipping tea in front of the fireplace. Overall the cabin is spacious and we appreciated the attention to detail. Everything was very well organized and Steve was quick to reply to messages. I hope to see it again in the summer!

This place was great for a big group. There is plenty of sleeping space and tons of things to do around the house. It rained for part of our trip, but that didn't even matter. We still had a great time. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back in the future!

Beautiful and rustic cabin with everything you need to have a blast in warm months or cold ones. The place was as cozy as could be, with ample seating and bedding, a large kitchen with all the tools you need, and beautiful views. The place is steeped in history too - how can you say no to staying in the same cabin as Albert Einstein? Highly recommend!

What a beautiful home! We went during black fly season, so we didn't do much outside the home, but there is plenty to do inside. The house is large and roomy, lots of bedrooms (and beds) and large general areas. I can't wait to go back! :)

Apologies to the repeat of the below reviews – but the Camp Wigwam Alumni House is the absolute PERFECT getaway. The tucked away location allows for you to completely disconnect from the world and enjoy nature at its finest. This truly is a home away from home – spent the weekend with a close group of friends celebrating birthdays/friendship and it was well spent. The cabin is extremely cozy, numerous rooms with fully comforter sets and towels in every room for the bathrooms, the kitchen is fully equipped for any kind of food preparation (i.e. pots, pans, blenders, condiments in the fridge, etc.) There are a dozen board games, wifi, and tv’s (which aren’t really needed because there’s so much to do). There was a huge snow storm on Saturday & the fireplace made it that much more enjoyable after taking advantage of the sleds! The hosts were awesome, checking in before the trip, during and after checkout. Couldn’t have imagined a better place to spend the weekend – we’ll definitely be back this summer to take advantage of the private lake/kayaks! Might even make it an annual tradition. 10 out of 10 – would definitely recommend for groups of people looking to have an amazing time in a place that feels like home.

We had such a wonderful couples trip with our friends in this house. This house is amazing. The layout of the house is perfect, big an open! We had 16, but I think it could fit at least 20 comfortably. Plenty to do in the house, a ton of board games and a nice pool table in the basement. The hosts were great and introduced themselves our second day. I plan on renting again in the future!

This place was better than advertised. The house was very well kept, clean, and spacious for a large group. We were able to enjoy the day out on the pond (ice fishing) and in the house. The kids were entertained by the sledding hill, endless games, and pool table. The adults had a blast hanging out & snowmobiling (we brought our own.) Thanks for having us! We hope to be back someday.

I can't say enough about how amazing this house is, and how helpful Rachel (and everyone else) is! The house is perfect for a large group - it somehow feels both cozy and more than large enough. Checking in and out was a breeze, and allowed us to just focus on having fun all weekend. Thank you for an amazing two nights!!

Kristen is such an amazing host, we couldn't have asked for a more gracious host. It was a beautiful home and we are honored we could spend time in a home that is full of so much history for her family. Four generations of her family have lived and enjoyed the home. We will defieinty be back in the summer, we are sure the veiws will be just as amazing. The home is literally on the lake and was beautiful covered with snow. The home is very specious and lots of room for board games and relaxation. We stayed over New Years for my husband's 30th birthday, it was a couple vacation, three couples in fact. There was more than enough room and the kitchen was specious and well equipped for home cooked meals all weekend. The home had everything we could have asked for and Kristen had a bottle of champagne waiting for us with New Year hats and accessories and a basket full of treats and a bottle of wine. Five minutes away there is an adorable small town Main Street with the cutest diner and local establishments. We highly recommend her home and enjoyed our stay tremondsly. The pictures don't do it justice!!
