There is so much more to explore than the designated hikes. There are a ton of hiking and biking trails off the beaten path. Gooseberry and the Jem trail are world known as the top mountain biking destinations and Virgin is home to world famous Red Bull Rampage.

With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah’s newest state park is also one of its most popular. Boat, fish, and dive at Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain on an off-highway vehicle, then enjoy some ice cream or lunch at the Beach Restaurant.

Springdale is at the base of Zion park and boasts a plethora of art galleries and delicious, local restaurants. Oscars is one of my favorite restaurants and has a couple corn hole games set up in the waiting area.

The Grocery Store is located close by and has a large international food selection. There is a Wal-mart about 5 miles away if you're looking for non grocery items

Downtown St George, at Ancestor Square, there are some amazing restaurants (My faves: Painted Pony, George's Corner, Benja Thai & Sushi & Sakura Japanese Steakhouse). There is an art gallery, a park with a splash pad and man made stream for cooling off and a Farmers Market in the Spring and Summer months.

Sky Mountain Golf Course is set in one of the most picturesque and beautiful locations in the world. The 6,450 yard / par 72 course is fun for all skill levels. The desert surroundings make Sky Mountain Golf Course both challenging and scenic!
Sandhollow Golf Course has an 18 hole Championship course, along with a 9 hole Links course and a 9 hole 'free' short game 'wee course' (Southern UTah's only 3 par golf course). They have a gorgeous club house with great food and spectacular views.

City/town information
Kanab is known for old Western movies and Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary. It's a gorgeous place to visit, if you like hiking and sightseeing. It also has some amazing restaurants. It's about an hour drive.
