Local Restaurants
Definitely a section worth paying attention too, although due to Covid you may need to book at most venues. All pubs serve food and as we are based in Cider County offer a range of local cider and Wye Valley ale that you may not have tried before. We have mentioned a few below that are local to us and given you a handy rating to let you know which are our favourites! Feel free to use the wifi to check trip advisor for other comments.

There is a Pay and display car park by canoe hire before the Saracens Head, or along the single track road by The Royal Lodge. Lots of walks and a cycle path that leads all the way to Monmouth. Symonds Yat West, the Herefordshire side, is connected to the East by a hand pull ferry for a small fee.

Food scene
Excellent local shop and coffee shop that does light snacks Monday to Saturday 12-2 and also does takeaway food Wednesday to Saturday. Wednesday is Wagyu burgers, Thursday is pizza, Friday is fish and chips and Saturday is southern fried chicken.
