Blue Papagalos is the story of legendary Joe Bluett, a Cuban rare bird collector who in the late 1920s turned all over America seeking the exotic blue parrot, was accused of spying and became the number one target of the American Mafia. The love of Rica, a blushing servant who made the world's finest sweet, was the reason for Joe to flee America and continue his journey for years on the Mediterranean ships where he had told him he would meet eventually the rare exotic bird.
He landed at the port of Piraeus in '48, with his harmonica in hand that he was in all his quests and somewhere in post-war Athens his traces were lost. Rumors say about a mistress of Metaxourgeio who rested him, and after listening to his story, he made a drink and gave him a drink, he said, "Drink and just give in to thank him, you can continue looking for the blue parrot." Until today, residents of the area talk about a guy with a black camper and a gray Fedora who walks through the streets playing a deliberately intoxicating purpose with his harmonica and monologues "I found him".
