Started by two friends in the seventies when it was the only year round restaurant, it is a stones throw from the ferry landing and is one of the few places you can eat right on the water. When excavating a cellar at the storied Kelly House, they unearthed a tavern dating back to colonial times which was then turned into this friendly tavern with rough hewn logs holding the ceiling. A simple friendly menu, reliably good food and very family friendly.

Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking Edgartown Harbor. They usually have live music on the weekends. Best value is the tomato bisque which comes with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich.
