Beach

You'll see a lot of locals on this beach and not many tourists. It's also a great spot to learn how to surf. It may not be the post card perfect Hawaiian beach with white sands and clear water but it is a great beach for picnics, barbeque, get-togethers and parties or spend an afternoon with family and friends. White Plains is also frequently visited by monk seals that come to snooze and rest. The parking lot gets very busy during the weekend and there will be people surfing from sunrise to sunset. There's a lifeguard on duty during their hours of operation. The restrooms are clean with basic toiletries.

This is a post card worthy beach/lagoons. There are 4 lagoons with 1 hidden beach that often has Sea turtles you could swim along side with. Beautiful sun sets, clean beaches clear waters with little to no debris. Clean public bathrooms, outdoor shower stands throughout. Shallow waters great for kids. Shopping and few restaurants including Monkey Pond restaurant a family favorite.

Surrounded by breathtaking 360 views, this hike is a family fav! This trail has a handful of these graffti-covered concrete bunkers, known as "pillboxes" including the bright pink pillbox
