Mogo township is worth a visit. There is a wide range of stores selling everything from handmade up market jewellery, to handmade fudge, arts and crafts supplies, kitchen supplies, garden plants, garden sculptures and there are lovely cafes. My favourite is Grumpy and Sweethearts. Great food and coffee.

Saturday Mornings down by the Moruya River. Great stalls, fresh fruit and vegetables. Lots of ready made food. Lots of stalls with quality handmade items including wooden and pottery items. Homemade jams and sauces, soaps even a stall dedicated to pets. Well worth a trip.

Parks & Nature
Situated on a 42 hectare forest site on the South Coast of New South Wales, five kilometres south of Batemans Bay.
The gardens grow and display plants which occur naturally in the region. The site abounds with a wide variety of flora and fauna including many of the 2000 species of plants, trees and shrubs of the region. There are kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, possums, echidnas, snakes, lizards, frogs and many birds.
Features include display gardens, walking tracks, picnic and barbecue areas, children's playground, a visitors centre and cafe.

This summer holidays the carnival beside the seaside at Corrigans Beach is a ritual for many enjoying the fireworks on New Year’s Eve and Australia Day. Treat yourself and the kids to dagwood dogs and fairy floss, lots of fun rides for all ages with the giant slide, the insane thunderbolt and of course the big one - the ferris wheel!
