My favourite place to spend the weekend in Tamworth is the Hopscoth Restaurant and Park. Great Restaurant/Café where you can take the kids or the dog. Brand new establishment, great food, great vibe and amazing playground for kids or great for a walk through the park after a cuppa. Highly reccommend

This restaurant has some fantastic food but on Saturday nights they normally have some live music playing aswell. Centred in the heart of Tamworth on Peel street, the restaurant won't disappoint.

If your in town for that country experience, the Longyard Hotel is the place to be. Expect a good hearty meal here and enough fun for the kids to be satisfied with ther kids area. They normally have live music on a weekend night so it's best to check what's happening.
