A picturesque reservoir with a range of outdoor activities on offer. You can rent bikes and cycle around the 12 miles around the lake or rent kayaks/paddle boards and go out onto the lake. There is also a nice walk to a waterfall.
Top tip - Stop at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa for food or a drink for the best views of the lake.

At 240ft Llanrhaeadr (Tan-y-Pistyll) Waterfall is the highest waterfall in England or Wales. Wonderful rock formations and footpaths up to the top of the waterfall.
