Very nice botanical gardens with all kinds of tropical plants of all kinds. Ideal for an afternoon stroll. Not too far from the house (10–15 mins. in taxi/Uber).

An Argentinian steakhouse, about the best meat to be had in Rio, and a variety of cocktails. Good service too and a nice setting, especially in good weather: by a port for small boats in Marina da Gloria.

If you want a really upscale restaurant, this is one of them, with excellent food, good service and elegant ambience. As the name suggests, it serves Italian food.

Narrower and therefore more crowded than Copacabana Beach, but with a lot of diversity. In the Rio summer, the crowd applauds when the sun sets between the Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers).
