Head south along the beach at low tide to Saltwater National Park where you will find forest walking tracks, viewing platforms with alternate beach access, picnic areas and a lagoon for kayaking and paddle boarding. When hungry head to the local cafe for breakfast lunch or dinner.

There are many places to visit from here within easy driving to explore the Manning River's delta islands and water ways or take a longer drive up the Manning Valley to rural towns of Tinonee and Wingham and regional Town of Taree.
For a full day out head up to Elands (Check road conditions - as the are unsealed and wind up the mountain - your do not 4Wheel drive, you do need a good car and driving skills) Your reward will be to see the mighty Ellenborough Falls - falling 200m - stay at the top or venture down the wooden stairs/board walk trace to get to the bottom. Definitely a full day's outing. Check to see if the cafe is open.
