This place is a favorite amongst the locals. Be sure to arrive before 11:30 AM or it will be very crowded. The #1 Italian sub is my favorite, hands down!

The new Pier is about 1.5 miles from the apartment. I highly suggest going at sunset, and walk to the VERY end of the Pier. Then go all the way to the top for a drink at the tiki bar while watching the sunset. 馃嵐

After 5 pm the $5 entrance fee is waived. If you are looking for a beautiful place to watch a sunset, this is it. It's worth the drive, once inside the park drive to North Beach and wait for the painting in the sky!
