It is the closest and the most well known beach in the city of Jacksonville. There is a drive on section if you have a truck however there is also public parking. Highly recommended for a quick day at the beach.

The best local crab in the area if you don't mind spending a few books and cooking it afterward. You must bring a cooler to store the food but it is relatively close to the property and all the crabs are freshly caught. I would call ahead just to insure they have exactly what you are looking for because people that know about this place tend to pick up large amounts of crab for a boil and sometimes they run out.

An amazing local ramen place with amazing food. Highly suggest for a date night or to try something new. I have been here about 8 times in the past year and I have yet to be disappointed. This restaurant is always busy so you might wait a little while but it is worth it.
