I'm an old caver and I love this tour- amazing cave and grounds- an hour southeast of Tucson but worth the drive. Check website for tour days and hours. Reservations may be necessary.

15 minutes (west on Speedway Blvd.) from the house is the spectacular Gates Pass. Park in the lot on the right before the crest of the hill- there are easy hikes to see the sunset over Tucson. Continue over the pass to Desert Museum and hiking trails.

Saguaro National Park
15 minutes (west on Speedway Blvd.) from the house is the spectacular Gates Pass. Park in the lot on the right before the crest of the hill- there are easy hikes to see the sunset over Tucson. Continue over the pass to Desert Museum and hiking trails.
This deceptive building houses a beautiful cool shaded courtyard with several places to eat and interesting shops.
