The most famous food in Daegu is Makchang.
There is a famous street full of Makchang restaurants just right near my flat. There also are Korean barbecues, chicken, and seafood restaurants.

Jjimdak is originated in the city of Andong, and is made with chicken, various vegetables marinated in a Korean soy sauce. The name literally means "steamed chicken."
It is a very delicious dish.

The north gate of my uni is one of the busiest place in Daegu at night. Many bars, shops, restaurants are running till dawn. Many college students and young people drink and hang out there.
