You'll get fun & festive ambiance here starting with Jake the parrot greeting you at the door! Their menu spans about all taste buds, from Crab Cakes to Chili Cheese Fries appetizers and Caribbean Jerk Alfredo, St. Louis Style Ribs, Pork Chops, Steaks and Club Sandwiches for entrees. There are refreshing adult beverages available at lunch (11AM-4PM) or dinner (4PM-9PM or 10PM - closed Tuesday night). Ask to sit by the window to look over the lake at sunset--beautiful!
This is a bit further from our little lake house, but well worth the drive. We like to spend the day shopping in Grove (lots of great antique spots) and then eat dinner at The Parrot and hit Dairy Queen on the way back to the lake house!

Great little diner to pop into for a yummy burger or ice cream cone. They have a nice little salad bar for the health conscious! Think about stopping by early for breakfast too. The kids will love the game room in the back with pool tables and arcade games.

Cosby's is BACK! After a 13 year hiatus, they've just re-opened and locals couldn't be more pleased! 6 miles east of Disney on highway 28. 4328 state highway 28 Eucha. This is VERY near our lake house...in fact the nearest and probably the BEST!! The steak and burgers are great but you WILL NOT BEAT their catfish, hush puppies, fries and coleslaw. This place has been a landmark for the best catfish for miles and miles. You won't be disappointed!

This is VERY near our lake house...in fact the nearest and probably the BEST!! The steak and burgers are great but you WILL NOT BEAT their catfish, hush puppies, fries and coleslaw. This place has been a landmark for the best catfish for miles and miles. You won't be disappointed!

Get a little history of the lake here. Built in 1939 over a 20-month period with 3000 workers, the dams 51 arches span over a mile of concrete. Go down into the inner parts of the dam and learn about the unique history of the Grand River. They may give you a free tour in the off season if you call ahead. Summer time tours are always available daily. Call for tour times - 918-256-0803

Both ships offer air-conditioning and heating for comfort in any weather, and are reminiscent of the romance and adventure of the old Mississippi riverboats. Cruises glide past beautiful homes along Grand Lake, Monkey Island, Shangri-La Resort, Har-Ber Village and the inspiring lakeside scenery. The Picture in Scripture Amphitheater is only minutes from this cabin! It is a 1,000 seat outdoor amphitheater nestled in the hills surrounding Grand Lake. The 2016 season will be presenting "The Man Who Ran," the epic account of Jonah and the great fish. A cast of 60 will be arrayed in colorful costumes, spectacular special effects, state of the art sound, pyrotechnics and live exotic animals. Dinner is available before each production.
