Kentish Town station is 10 mins walk from ours (or hop on the 393 bus at the bus stop across the road from our front door!) and there's an overground platform at KT as well as tube. The overground platform gets you to St Pauls Cathedral in 14 minutes!

This is our favourite breakfast haunt in London. As well as excellent coffee, a great menu, friendly good service it's also one of the few places in London you're unlikely to have to queue for a table at the weekends. We love it!

Great breakfast. Lovely menu, superb coffee, nice environment. There's a larger Caravan at Kings Cross (think New York warehouse style) but we prefer the intimacy of this one. Both are great.

Fantastic Chinese restaurant. It's big but they fill it. A lot of Chinese people eat here which is always a good sign! It's pricey so don't expect a small bill, but do expect very good food.

Wembley stadium is just 6 miles away. We often have guests staying with tickets to either a sporting or musical event here. It's easy to get to and since there's not an awful lot to do there other than visit the stadium, it's nice to come back central afterwards!

Brilliant cinema with fab sofa seating and a really nice bar area too. Drinks and food served to seats. It's fab!

If you're in to the club scene or even if you're not it's worth checking out Cyberdog in the market for a taste of colour. If you're looking for leather goods (clothing and bags), or jewellery (check out Tribu who have multiple stalls) or funky souvenirs, or of course Doc Marten's (check out the British Boot Company which was one of the first UK stores to sell DM's) then Camden is the place for you. And if you don't want to shop (or eat - every possible culinary choice is available here!), then chilling out at Camden Lock on a sunny day is one of the nicest ways to spend a day in London

Bubbling with London life, asides the wonders of the flower stalls the shops on this road burst into life and have many treasures and delights to offer. Top Tip: Angela Flanders Perfumer - the shop's been here over 30 yrs and with candles and oils, room sprays and her signature perfumes. The flower market opens at 8am and it's good to get there early!
