Parks & Nature
The Mills Peak fire lookout offers a spectacular view of the valley, Sierra Buttes and several lakes in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area. On clear days you can even see Mt. Lassen. Note: You will need to take a dirt road to the Red Fir Nature Trail and hike to the fire lookout (about 1 mile). The road while generally decent is a dirt road; thus depending upon weather may be better suited for 4-wheel drive at times.
Mills Peak Station

Frazier Falls

The old Mill town of Graeagle offers shops and boutiques along the main road through town. Situated in the old Mill cabins painted red and white you can't help but fall in love with this little town. Visit the famous Graeagle Market for fresh produce and butcher. Other shops include clothing stores, bike shop, ice cream parlor, children's/book store, coffee shops, yoga studio and much more.

Located less than a 1/4 of a mile from the house, the Blackbird Inn offers a full bar, live music most Saturday nights, and food from the "Ricochet" Cafe food truck. Hours are typically Wednesday- Saturday 12 noon to 9 p.m. (yes that is our nightlife in Clio!).
