Lake Charles has TONS of restaurants - here are a few of my favorites.
Local microbrewery with good hamburgers. Check website for activities. Rikenjaks is located on Ryan Street (named after one of the founding fathers - and my ancestor - of Lake Charles). It's not far from the Bayou House. The street is a very busy commercial corridor that runs from downtown Lake Charles to McNeese State University. There are lots of restaurants to choose from.

Pretty popular with the Lake Charles crowd. It's in downtown Lake Charles. To get to the downtown area just head north on Lake Street. Bayou Rum is made at a small distillery about 15 miles east of Lake Charles. Try the Satsuma and the Dark Select - they are our favorites!
