Pasir Panjang Food Centre has over 40 food stalls selling almost all of Singapore's famous local dishes (Chinese, Malay, Indian and Thai). There's Satay, Rojak, Roti Prata, Chicken Rice, Char Kway Teow, Nasi Goreng, Carrot Cake, Grilled fish, Duck Noodle, etc. Best of all, the food is relatively inexpensive and the food court remains open till late at night.

Food at On The Table is Modern European, with a sprinkling of American cuisine, and I find they specialise in desserts and drinks. Generally, dishes are beautifully plated, and look better than they taste. Flavour combinations are bold and vibrant, fairly complex and novel. Portions are large and hearty, suitable for sharing. Prices are slightly more affordable than other cafes, budget about SGD $17 per person for a meal here.
