A great place to go if you are in the mood for an outdoor dining experience. The deck is completely covered so you can even enjoy in the rain.

A little bit of a drive but well worth it if you love traditional country food. This is a family run business, one of a kind. The chicken friend steak is super tender and as big as the plate they serve it on. All meals come with a selection of fresh vegetables. Breakfast is all day and yes, this restaurant is packed on weekends but you rarely have to wait for a table.

Located in Walden, the restaurant is open to the public but the pool and other amenities are for members only. It is a bit of a drive to go around the lake and all the way back into Walden, but the Sunday buffet is one of the best around.

You have to drive into Conroe to find Joe's Italian Restaurant which is located on Frazier. If you love real Italian food, this is worth the drive. Founded by an Italian from New York, this restaurant features real Italian food and a wide selection of wines. Reasonably priced for the quality of food.

My facorite Shopping Places
Upscale stores in The Woodlands, TX, located about ten minutes south of Conroe on I-45. Exit Woodlands Parkway (Exist 76B) to access most stores in the Woodlands.
Many high scale shops and restaurants in the Woodlands Mall... too many to mention. This upscale mall is surrounded by a waterway that connects many restaurants that are in walking distance.
