Our breathtaking coastline is part of a nature reserve where we protect and preserve our marine life. SANCCOB is Port Elizabeth's marine bird rehabilitation and education centre situated in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve. The centre's purpose isn't just to rescue and rehabilitate, but to also inform and educate the public through their different programs. We recommend visiting this center and supporting their efforts to protect our coastline for future generations, they do amazing work and once in afew months you can get to experience penguin releases, where they release the penguins back to their natural habitat, it is heart warming.

this is not for the faint hearted! The first operator to offer a Shark Cage Diving experience in Algoa Bay Port Elizabeth. The aim of this tour is to showcase the diversity of Algoa Bay by giving the guests on board the opportunity to encounter and learn about a wide variety of marine species from the endangered African Penguin and iconic Bottlenose Dolphin right through to the magnificent though often misunderstood Great White Shark.

Art in the park takes place on the last Sunday of every month and is P.E's oldest market. The park is home to a lot of monuments which creates the perfect place to have a picnic under the trees in the park.

Designed for children and adults alike, Happy Valley is ideal for family strolls in pleasant surroundings and offers a delightful fairy-tail and nursery rhyme setting of colored lights in the evenings. There are lily ponds, rockeries, gigantic palms and peaceful retreats in which to sit. A large chessboard has been laid out in the valley on the lawn and visitors interested in playing the game may acquire the chess pieces from the Beach Manager's Office.

This is where it all began. P.E's Favourite place to eat out! Cubata is a small, family run Portuguese restaurant that only seats about 30 people. It is not licensed so you need to bring your own drink. They only serve grilled chicken (peri peri or not), prawns, spare ribs, calamari and chips. You will never want to order ribs anywhere else.
