This place has a small beach and a picnic area. During the summer they charge around 6 dollars per person to use the facilities (that includes picnic tables, bathrooms, docks, and the presence of life guards). It is a perfect place to spend the day, and very safe to go with kids and family.

Crystal Lake Beach

This park has walking trails in the middle of the woods, a fenced area to walk and play with dogs, a picnic area, free basketball, soccer, tennis and baseball fields. Between July 9 to October 22 there is a Farmer's market with local produce (1.30 to 6.00 pm).

This place has the greatest Bagels in the area. If you want them fresh, go during the morning. They also have a variety of cream cheese with different flavors.

This is a big area with all kinds of stores, restaurants and a movie-theater. The best way to get there is to take the T in direction to Government Center, get down at the Chestnut Hill station, and walk a little bit.
