EAST-COAST KALI 4/5: Casamigos blanco, grand marnier, passionfruit and some other fruity things. Not bad. Kinda sweet, not as strong as I'd like.
DIRTIER BASTARD 4/5: Bourbon, ginger, lime, lemon-tea cordial (interesting twist). Again, not bad.
PRETZEL KNOTS & BUTTER 5/5: Complimentary soft pretzel knots with a side of thick honey mustard butter? I mean, the only complaint I have is why it wasn't bottomless. Just saying.
TRUFFLE SASHIMI 5/5: Wow. Mouthwatering. Tuna, hamachi, chili oil, ponzu, caviar, black truffle. Fantastic fusion of flavors.
MRC ROLL 5/5: Seared tuna, shrimp, ponzu butter. Did I mention ponzu butter? Yeah. It was amazing.
CRUNCHY RICE CAKES 4/5: I can still taste it and I was there a year and a half ago! Lightly fried, soft upon biting, and generously coated with a slab of the tuna. The classic spicy mayo and soy dressing was delicious.
MUSHROOM SPAGHETTI 5/5: Yup. Definitely. Must get. Wild mushrooms, peeled sugar snap peas, tomatoes and parmesan. So creamy and savory and sweet. So good.

Excellent customer service. Waiters are awesome with food recommendations to cocktail drinks. The ambiance and decor of TAO is so beautifully designed and done. Every detail of the place from the bathroom decor, to the giant Buddha upfront to the staircase leading down to more tables.

West coast oysters-fresh and tasty.
Romaine salad-the dill and dressing added a nice kick to an otherwise regular salad.
Shrimp appetizer-fresh, and nice and hot.
