Sightseeing

FREE! Take an elevator up to the top of Los Angeles' tallest sky scraper. Excellent views from the 73rd floor. It's free and fun. There is a hotel bar and cafe in the top-level lobby. I highly recommend popping in for a visit if you find yourself downtown.

LA's Union Station is beautiful. The Streamliner is an underrated hidden-gem-of-a-bar, tucked into a back corner of this stylish train depot.

A fun place for casual sushi-dinner. Little Tokyo is my favorite LA neighborhood, and I visit this quirky conveyor-belt sushi restaurant frequently.

An historic Los Angeles food market. This place has been growing in popularity; you'll find old classics mixed in with modern innovations. Tons of options, very popular on the weekends. Check out the Bradbury building just across the street; it dates back to 1893 and was famously featured in the sci-fi classic, Blade Runner.
