It is also a great place to start hiking trips from. It is the starting point for trips to both Munkebu and Tindstind, as well as shorter trips like a walk around Sørvågen lake.

A short walk from our house you find the cozy Brygga Restaurant. They are beautifully located on pillars above the water and have beautiful views from the windows. Nice if you want to have some food or a glass of wine/beer close to "home".

A great place for fine dining. The restaurant has a pleasant vibe to it, their whale beef is lovely, and they also serve a great tasting Stockfish course. The staff is friendly and you have a view outside from every table.
