A must do visit to Rainbow Falls. A 4.3km walk (about an hour) one way starting at the Rainbow Falls car park and ending up at the Kerikeri Basin where one will find parking and picnicking areas. A short easy and beautiful walk through native bush. There are three viewing platforms at the top of Rainbow Falls. There is a historic weir that supplied the first electrical power to the early Kerikeri township and the remnants of the hydro-electric station are still visible. An information panel is situated at the rest area. Dogs are not permitted on the walking track. Ensure your vehicle is locked and any valuables are out of sight before leaving for your walk.

Air Terjun Pelangi (Waianiwaniwa)

What an awesome place to take children. Although I must say I enjoyed the visit as well. The staff are so friendly and are happy to share information about the different parrots and birds. One can also get up close and personal by feeding the parrots with seeds and nuts. My visiting 14yr old grandson was not interested in going but once there, he didn't want to leave and wanted photos taken of himself with a parrot (who had taken a liking to him) in the walk-in aviary. Would definitely recommend this place.
