The grounds have spectacular views of the Hudson River and Catskills Mountains. There is a 45-50 min waking loop that is one of my favorites. The gardens are a must see in season
You can also tour the home which I highly recommend.

This is a must see, the views are spectacular! The structure and the history of the old railroad bridge is fascinating. You can walk, bike, roller blade or run across the walkway or extend your adventure for miles in either direction.
