For hiking: Take the metro number 1 to the end stop Frognerseteren, and you are in the middle of the forest. Follow signs to Ullvålseter/Sognsvann (about 10 kilometeres), stop at Ullvålseter for a coffe/cake, and take the metro back from Sognsvann. Or just go for a walk in the area.

A walk on the roof of the Opera Building is a really nice experience! 30 minutes walk from the house, follow Tøyengata, and cross the pedestrian bridge in the newest part of Oslo (Barcode).

Take the metro from our house to the skijump Holmenkollen. Inside there is a Ski museum. There is also a skijump simulator - very exiting!
