This park is within walking distance from the house and has a huge network of amazing lighted trails, as well as quiet, wooded trails frequented by moose and birds.

A great place for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Favorite spots here include Jack Sprat restaurant and Girdwood Brewing. The hotel has a great sushi restaurant, and you can take the tram to the top of the mountain and have a Fizz at the Seven Glaciers. The Winner Creek Trail has a cool hand trolley over a stream in a gorgeous ravine and there are lots of music festivals here in the summer. The town has a great thrift store too; it's got a whole room full of old records.
