The marble building is recent. Its construction began in 1996 to honour the 50th anniversary of the King. It is a beautiful temple overlooking the bay and offering a view especially significant on Hat Sai Kaew side. It is the pride of Ban Krut and is visited a lot by Thai tourists. Khao Ma Rong Cave and Khao Ma Rong Temple/ถ้ำเขาม้าร้อง Recommended by Bangsaphan Paradise: ☆☆☆☆ Type of place: Temple, Cave About 2 km from Suan Luang Beach and 3 km from the town, this temple is known for its cave. But before you get to it you will find a classical temple. Follow the small road in the forest, you will cross a shelter for abandoned dogs and a small path that leads to a smaller cave, the Ploenchit cave. At the end of the street, there is a small shrine with a Fat Buddha. The Ma Rong Cave is just behind. It is composed of several underground chambers, one in particular, the leftmost chamber was converted into a temple. There is small platform with tiled hosting a reclining Buddha and several other sitting Buddha statues. In the right part of the cave you will find a few other statues. Admission is free but donations are welcome to buy food for the abandoned dogs and to pay for electricity to light the cave. If you are afraid of bats, just know that there is a colony that lives in Ma Rong Cave. น้ำตกไทรคู่/Sai Khu Waterfall Recommended by Bangsaphan Paradise: ☆☆☆☆☆ Type of place: Waterfall Sai Khu Waterfall Sai Khu Waterfall is one of the most popular tourist attractions, located at Moo 3, Tambon Ron Thai, Amphoe Bang Sapan, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province; in other word, it is situated in the west of Petchakasem Road near Tenasserim Hills or 20 kilometers off the heart of the city. You can take Highway Route Number 3196 from Amphoe Bang Sapan to Way Pokto’s intersection, turn right, and you will see a small wooden bridge, cross the brook about 5 kilometers and Sai Khu Waterfall is right in front of you. Sai Khu Waterfall is a natural medium-size waterfall of which the beauty is remarkable and the water flows all the year. Each of its floors possesses unique charm. Furthermore, this spot has 3 large floors and the other ones are less and less larger. For the second, third, and fourth floors, there are shady trees for the tourist to sit back and play water. Despite its height, the most visited floors are the fourth, fifth, and sixth. The fourth floor originated the name of this waterfall “Sai Khu” as on a cliff top stand two mighty banyan trees (Sai in Thai). The trees shelter their surroundings and create the cozy atmosphere for playing water and taking a rest. Moreover, the second most beautiful floor is the fifth as it possesses large stone cliff and rivers flowing along the stones about 50 meters. Not only going up to the sixth floor by climbing or crawling up the fairly steep and damp cliff but also the banyan tree’s hanging root render the floor truly unique and challenging for the adventure lovers. Climbing up is permitted but it takes extreme care for all tourists. Ao Bo Thonglang/อ่าวบ่อทองหลาง Recommended by Bangsaphan Paradise: ☆☆☆☆☆ Type of place: Beach Ao Bo Thonglang Ao Bo Thonglang Bay is 4 kilometers away from Ao Mae Ramphueng along the beach road. The beach shape is crescent-curved almost like a circle. The water is shallow and there are many tiny stone-islands lined at the front of the bay. The significant point of this bay is the tiny islands in the middle of the bay. When the tide is low, the vast white sand beach will appear. You can walk to the small islands in the middle of the bay. However, please be aware when the tide is high if you want to swim to those islands. At present, a great number of people visit this bay for splashing water and relaxing since this bay is quite peaceful and less crowded unlike the other bays. Tourists can buy food and drinks from the stalls along the beach. For those who would like to drive to this bay, please take Highway Number 4, turn left to Amphur Bang Saphan at Kilometer 397, drive along Highway Number 3169 which is connected to Klang Ao Road. Keep driving along the beach to the entrance of Ao Bo Thonglang Bay. อ่าวบ่อทองหลาง อ่าวบ่อทองหลาง เป็นอ่าวขนาดเล็กๆ ตั้งอยู่ที่ ตำบลแม่รำพึง อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ที่นี่จะมีจุดเด่น คือ มีชายหาดโค้งจนเกือบจะเป็นรูปวงกลมสวยมากๆ ชายหาดสีขาวนวล เวลาที่น้ำลดจะเห็นแนวหาดทรายขึ้นมา เหมาะสำหรับการเล่นน้ำทะเลเป็นอย่างมากเลยค่ะ เลยทำให้มีนักท่องเที่ยวมาเล่นน้ำพักผ่อนกันที่นี่ เพราะระดับน้ำจะตื้นๆ ไม่ลึกจนเกินไป และยังมีเกาะหินอยู่ตรงกลางอ่าว เนื่องจากที่นี่เป็นอ่าว ที่มีหินล้อมรอบ ทำให้คลื่นทะเลเข้ามาไม่ได้ เลยสามารถเล่นน้ำชายหาดได้อย่างสะดวกสบาย บริเวณชายหาดก็จะมีร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร คอยให้บริการนักท่องเที่ยวอยู่ มีเก้าอี้ชายหาดสามารถทานอาหารบนชายหาดได้อีกด้วยค่ะ ต้องบอกเลยว่าค่อนข้างแปลกใจว่า ทำไมที่ อ่าวบ่อทองหลาง แห่งนี้ ถึงไม่ค่อยมีใครรู้จักมากนัก เพราะนอกจากความสวยงามของอ่าวที่โค้งแล้วนั้น น้ำทะเลที่นี่ ยังใสมากๆ และบรรยากาศก็ดีมากอีกด้วย นั่งทานข้าวริมหาดเพลินๆ พร้อมกับลมเย็นๆ Opening Hours: Always open Location: https://goo.gl/maps/9rLBDqVVczR2

It has two beautiful resorts, unspoiled beaches and coconut palms encircling the pristine evergreen tropical rainforest covering the most of it. The shallow clear blue sea with rich marine life is the perfect choice of nature lovers for fishing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, sailing, trekking or just for relaxing. You can book accommodation on the island here: Koh Talu Island. Half day trips departs from the pier towards the south of the bay at 9am, returning at 1:30pm. The tours are very popular with locals who travel down from Bangkok at the weekends, they can get very busy. If you would like to book, kindly let us know. If you can you have just discovered Ban Krut. Ban Krut is spelt many ways including Ban Krud, Ban Krood, Ban Kruit, Baan Krud, Ban Grud, Ban Kroot and Baan Grood. In Thai it reads บ้านกรูด so we have stuck with Ban Krut which seems to be the most common! The start of Ao Ban Krut is marked by a large headland with a temple and a Golden Buddha. The distance is about 300-400 meters. Here is rich in mangrove forest and various animals such as crab claw, samae crab, firefly, foot fish. Able to enter in 2 ways: The beams of the boat at the house of Headman Sa or by the mouth of the canal. The visitor can observe the sign of entrance. In front of the entrance, locals will be selling food. Locals take part in the conservation of the forest community. Several groups of wild fowl came out to ferret for food in the morning. There are wild fowl living near the city community.
