A short ride over from Hunter into Tannersville you'll find this Lovely vintage restaurant with a cottage feel. The waitstaff is hard working and very pleasant. Many recommend the roast beef sandwiches, but I am a fan of the fettuccini alfredo.

Open Thursday - Monday, 8 am-3 pm You can enjoy breakfast and lunch at this beautiful café. The seating indoors makes you wonder if you're still in Hunter. Definitely, a cute date spot you must visit.

You can find fresh food, frozen food and even have an international section. Tops is a very convenient stop if you're spending a few days up here and need to pile up on some snacks.

This deli is great for a grab-and-go. Mimics the NYC corner delis, I go for the BLT. Its Mosty open till 3 pm. Check online for hours or give them a call to be sure.

When the mountain isnt covered in a blanket of snow, you must come back and participate in the summer/ fall activities. The Scenic Skyride is a spectacular experience, 11 minutes each way with breathtaking views while sitting comfortably on the lift. If you live for adrenaline definitely check out the Zipline Adventures provided by Hunter Mountain. They the Midmountain tour as well as the Skyrider tour for some unforgettable memories.

Kaatterskill Falls is worth the hike. Some areas of the hike can become difficult, especially on the way back because it's very steep. I wouldn't recommend it for small children or the elderly. Overall a quick hike, about 30-40 min down depending on your pace. Plug in "Laurel House Rd" into your GPS and take it down until you reach the parking area. About a 15 min ride from the condos.
